LONDON: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Friday there had been a 鈥渄isgusting鈥� rise in antisemitic incidents since last weekend鈥檚 attack on Israel by the militant group Hamas.
鈥淭here鈥檚 been a quite frankly disgusting rise in antisemitic incidents over the past few days, that鈥檚 not right,鈥� Sunak told reporters.
鈥淲e will absolutely not tolerate people inciting hatred or violence or racist activity, intimidating or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. It will be met with the full force of the law.鈥� (Reporting by Kylie MacLellan; editing by Sarah Young)
